VoiceScribe is an AI-powered transcription and analysis service that allows users to:

Convert audio files to text transcriptions
Analyze transcriptions using AI for insights and categorization
Manage subscription plans and billing
Access web-based dashboard and browser extension functionality

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use VoiceScribe, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to:

Provide accurate and current information
Maintain the security of your password
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Billing

4.2 Payment Terms

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

4.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. Refunds for other circumstances are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use VoiceScribe for:

Any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Violating any laws or regulations
Infringing on intellectual property rights
Transmitting harmful or malicious content
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Using the service in a way that could damage or impair our infrastructure

6. Content and Data Usage

6.1 Audio Content

You retain ownership of all audio content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us permission to process it for transcription and analysis purposes only.

6.2 Data Processing

Audio files are processed temporarily using trusted third-party speech-to-text transcription services and deleted immediately after transcription is complete. We do not store your audio files permanently on our servers.

6.3 AI Analysis

Transcription text may be sent to third-party AI services for analysis and summarization. This processing is done securely with end-to-end encryption, and the results are stored according to your subscription plan. AI providers do not retain your data after processing.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

        Third-Party AI Processing: For transcription and AI analysis services, we securely share your audio files with trusted third-party AI providers for speech-to-text transcription and AI-powered analysis. These providers process your data temporarily and do not retain it after processing. All data transmission is encrypted and processed in compliance with privacy regulations.
      

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Service Ownership

VoiceScribe and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 User Content

You retain ownership of your audio content and transcriptions. You grant us a limited license to process your content for service provision.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide continuous service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

VoiceScribe is provided "as is" without warranties. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, though we may retain certain data as required by law.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
